Each year, on November 14, World Diabetes Day (WDD) is recognized around the world. WDD was created in 1991 in response to growing concerns about the escalating health threat posed by diabetes. It is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign, reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in more than 160 countries.

On June 15, 2016, West’s contract manufacturing division—formerly known as The Tech Group—attended Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East in New York City. Show attendees discovered the latest innovations, new materials, and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes from among 900 suppliers.
