After welcoming new Taiwan colleagues from Exosite to West three months ago, we are excited to announce the grand opening of our Taipei office, which marks another Digital Technology Center (DTC) in the Asia Pacific region.
All of our One West Team members in Taiwan attended the new office opening celebration and shared their excitement around virtually meeting each other and learning more about West’s accomplishments and commitment to improving patients’ lives.
“With the office set up, I believe we will work more closely and strongly as One West Team,” said Silji Abraham, Senior Vice President & Chief Digital and Transformation Officer of West. “We will continue to provide value to our customers, team members and stakeholders through future digital innovations.”
Along with the Bengaluru and Exton DTC teams, as well as another location in Taichung, we expect to see more advances in software development and engineering to implement West’s digital strategy and drive digital innovation, which will help further accelerate West’s digital transformation journey.

We recently announced our partnership with <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://techin-iitpkd.org/" target="_blank">TECHIN – a Technology Innovation Foundation of IIT Palakkad</a> which focuses on assisting innovation and incubation for growing entrepreneurs, to build a Medtech Research Center of Excellence.
In March, West presented the Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital with a donation at the opening of West Digital Technology Center (DTC) in Bengaluru, India. These funds will support patients who need financial assistance and who would otherwise not be able to afford their cancer treatment.
