W for West without Borders

From May 13 to June 4, team members at our Exton, PA site banded together in our annual West without Borders (WWB) Giving Campaign in the hopes of making a big difference for Fox Chase Cancer Center and Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE).

Binghuan Cao, Sr. Tech Support, Maintenance, China, has worked at West for 12 years. He is a highly motivated, philanthropic activist for West without Borders activities and local community services. Binghuan has been involved in West Without Borders activities in China for the past 10 years. In addition to donating, he has volunteered as a representative for West in support of local schools and community organizations.

Global Food Drive

From all corners of the globe, our team members banded together to uplift their local communities during our Sixth Annual Global Food Drive. The COVID pandemic has contributed to a severe increase in global food insecurity, due to loss of incomes, disruptions in food supply chains, and other factors resulting from COVID. Our communities are in acute need of our help more than ever.

Korea Food Drive

As part of our West without Borders team member led giving program, West’s Korea team recently kicked off their first Food Drive event in Anseong, Gyeonggi in South Korea. All 15 West team members participated and collected over 170 kg (385 lbs) of food items for ten local families that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

West’s Culture of Giving Continues at the New Digital Technology Center Opening in Bengaluru

In March, West presented the Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital with a donation at the opening of West Digital Technology Center (DTC) in Bengaluru, India. These funds will support patients who need financial assistance and who would otherwise not be able to afford their cancer treatment.

This spring, West team members in Jersey Shore, PA hosted an annual raffle featuring some outstanding prizes in support of Camp Victory, a camp designed especially for children with special needs. Children who live with chronic health problems, physical or mental disabilities, or the aftermath of catastrophic illness, know lifelong challenges. Camp Victory was built for these children. West’s Jersey Shore team has supported the important mission at Camp Victory through their West without Borders employee-led fundraising campaign for more than 40 years.
