This document investigates particle loads of CZ vials vs glass and other plastic vials as well as plastic cry bags, before and after freeze-thaws.
This study evaluated particle load from Daikyo Crystal Zenith® (CZ) vials, compared vs glass and plastic vials and plastic cryo bags before and after freeze-thaws to understand the baseline particle load in these different packaging components. Particle analysis was also done to determine the origin of the observed particles as well as visual inspection for damages before and after freeze-thaw cycle.
