TR 2015/168: Filling Line Machinability Assessments 1-3mL NovaPure Plunger 4023/50 Gray

Evaluation of the plunger's capabilities during plunger placement operations and to determine change parts required to optimally process on filling lines.

Fill/finish equipment and machining assessments were performed with the 1-3 mL NovaPure® plunger to ensure that effective machinability could be achieved; assessments focused on the vibratory feeder bowl, sorting tracks, feeder tracks, swivel/transfer arms, plunger placement tubing, and plunger placement insertion rod/tip during mechanical vent-tube and vent-tube/vacuum assist plunger placement processes.
