TR 2018/192: 1 mL Long and 1-3 mL NovaPure® Plungers 4023/50 Gray Container Closure Integrity Performance Evaluation in Glass Syringes via High Voltage Leak Detection

This technical report summarizes the details and results of CCI testing of 1 mL Long and 1-3 mL NovaPure® Plungers 4023/50 using HVLD analysis.

This study examined the container closure integrity over two years of West’s 1 mL Long and standard 1-3 mL NovaPure plungers with glass syringes. It also evaluated the use of the high voltage leak detection (HVLD) test as a container closure integrity method for prefilled syringes.
