“For us this is a pleasant surprise,” said Mike Treadaway, Vice President and General Manager, Tech Group. “We weren’t sure what would happen when we decided to participate, but we’re pleased to know that our employees place us among the top companies in the area.”
Treadaway says that excellent employee communication, as well as a high degree of employee engagement and involvement in Lean programs at all facilities has helped employees make a difference.
“It’s part of our culture to respect and encourage our employees’ ideas for improvements,” noted Treadaway. “We implement as many of those ideas as we can and reward employees for successful implementation. Even entry level employees can make a difference here, and that helps everyone understand how important they are to our business.”

Data generated from the survey will help determine areas where Tech Group can improve employee relations and communications.
