This year, West Singapore partnered with Community Chest and the Care Corner Family Centre.
The Centre offers a variety of special programs, including specialist tutoring, reading programs and the KidsBright development program, which is designed to address children’s underlying cognitive difficulty in learning and functioning. The program benefits children with learning disorders including ADHD, dyslexia, sensory/auditory processing disorder, dyspraxia and mild autism.
Over a period of three weeks, a sum of S$5,000 was raised through a series of fun-filled activities such as Charity Fruit Day, Road Show, Play for Charity and Celebrity Chefs to support KidsBright. The Singapore team truly made a difference to others.
The West without Borders charity fundraising initiative had a terrific year in 2011. West employees around the globe contributed more than $210,000 to aid local charities. To date, the charity campaign has raised more than $1 million since its inception in 2004. The 2011 campaign focused on local charities selected by the employees in West’s global facilities

Come one, come all to the 2014 West without Borders campaign! From preliminary planning to the final one-ring circus, the 2014 West without Borders campaign in Kinston, N.C., was a whole lot of clowning around in the name of a good cause. This year, Kinston team members supported three charities: Relay for Life Kids’ Walk, Kid’s Cafe and Shriners’ Hospital for Children’s Transportation Fund.
We are pleased to share that West has received the Distinction Award of the AmCham Singapore CARES initiative, which is a further testament to West’s continued commitment as a good corporate citizen and our contributions on making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
As part of the annual West without Borders fundraising campaign, West’s Puerto Rico employees chose to support Centro Margarita, Inc., a 33-year-old center that specializes in rehabilitating children with special needs and/or developmental disabilities.
