Impact of Selected Elements on the Accelerated Stability of Human Lysozyme

This presentation reviews safety and quality concerns as well as a proof of concept study on extractable elements' risk to biologic quality.
As a proof of concept study to investigate the effect of these compounds on protein stability, the effect of aluminum, calcium, zinc, silicon, and magnesium on the accelerated stability of one model protein, Human Lysozyme, was studied.
