Development of Analytical Techniques to Determine Protein Adsorption on Sterilized Parenteral Packaging Containers and Stoppers
The purpose of this study was to develop qualitative and quantitative methods to characterize protein adsorption to containers made of glass or plastic.
Protein adsorption to the surfaces of vials, syringe barrels and stoppers can be visualized using dye binding. Protein adsorption is both protein-specific and surface-dependent.
