A Commitment to Our People
When it comes to our people, West is focused on our more than 10,000 team members and the broader communities across the globe in which we operate. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture while strengthening our One West Team with purposeful philanthropic involvement.
To nurture our culture, we continue to operate our Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) across global sites.
These include:
• West Disability Network (WeDN)
• Multinational Organization Supporting an Inclusive Culture (MOSAIC)
• Veterans and Allies Leading for Organizational Results (VALOR)
• Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN)
EBRGs play a pivotal role in fostering career development and cultural awareness through professional development sessions, panel discussions and guest speakers.
In 2024, we launched the “Living the One West Way” training, with almost 98% of team members globally completing the program. This training cultivates a common understanding of values-aligned behaviors and reinforces our inclusive culture.
Our long-term inclusivity objectives aim to increase diverse supplier engagement strategies and deepen cultural competence. Through a strengthened talent
acquisition strategy, we are expanding our reach via partnerships with educational institutions and programs supporting accessibility and transitions into the workforce.
West’s talent objectives over the next five years will focus on strengthening our ability to attract, develop and retain talent at all levels, while fostering meaningful and inclusive employee experiences. Additionally, we remain committed to deepening cultural competence and advancing inclusivity across our workplace.
