Determining Performance Improvements in Quality-by-Design Plungers for Syringes in Auto-Injector Systems

Describes a one-year long study that compares NovaPure® plungers to legacy plungers with three different viscosity placebos.

NovaPure® 1 mL long plungers were developed with the Quality-by-Design (QbD) method for use in pre-filled syringes – especially those coupled with autoinjectors. Parameters evaluated in here are: delivery time; delivery volume; initiation/sustaining force.
