TR 2015/165: Westar® RU Cartridge Plunger Functional Characteristics

This report summarizes technical evaluations of the plunger components to assess the functional performance in terms of initiating and sustaining forces.

West performed technical evaluations of two plunger components in two West formulations, which were designed to meet ISO dimensional requirements as specified in ISO 13926-2 Pen Systems – Part 2: Plunger stoppers for pen-injectors for medical use and can be combined with appropriately sized ISO glass cartridges.
