West’s Move Benefits School Children

Moving can be tough business.  When West relocated its global headquarters to a new facility in Exton, Pennsylvania, associates had a lot of cleaning to do.  Efforts were made to recycle business materials that were no longer needed in our newer, greener location.

West donated binders and other supplies to the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation which were put to use this September for the “Pack a Backpack” program.  The program offers backpacks stuffed with school supplies.

This year, Foundation volunteers distributed over $10,000 in backpacks and supplies, and delivered more than 500 fully stocked backpacks to Phoenixville schools, to be distributed to children who cannot afford to buy school supplies.
