West encourages team members to take on more responsibility and individual annual performance has operated at its highest level over the past several years. The Le Nouvion site has established a Potential Development program aimed to prepare future specialists and first-line managers. This program allows team members to deepen their knowledge of West processes and to acquire new job-related competencies in preparation for future career opportunities. Le Nouvion site also offers a housing assistance program for apprentices.
West’s sites in France are Investors in People certified, which reflects the high-level of focus we place on supporting our people and demonstrates leadership engagement.
Since 2012, West Le Nouvion has been involved in the West without Borders Program. West Le Nouvion provides donations to many associations linked to health and disability, including:

Recent fundraising events included Christmas decoration charity sales, a soccer tournament, and sandwiches and pancakes charity sales. West Normandy is regularly involved in local charity associations such as Vie Et Espoir or Les Anges de Sofia. West without Borders is not affiliated with Doctors Without Borders®, which is a registered service mark of Bureau International de Médecins Sans Frontières.
West offers differentiated annual salary increases based on individual performance, including job performance and adherence to West values. The Le Nouvion site was founded in 1974 and West has been present in France since 1995. The plant specializes in the manufacturing of rubber components for injectable solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech and generics customers. The facility is approximately 60,500 m2 and employs on average 800 team members. The Le Nouvion site uses advanced technologies such as vision inspection, B2 coating and Westar® ready to sterilize processing. Le Nouvion is a center of excellence for injection molding technology.
