TR 2005/110: 4432/50 Potential Extractables in Various Solvents

This report includes potential extractables and breakdown products of 4432/50 Gray formulation across solvents of varied pH and alcohol content.
In this study, one of West's elastomer formulations was screened in various solvents, including: solutions at pH 3, 7 and 10; 50% ethanol/water; isopropyl alcohol (IPA); and 0.03% Polysorbate 80 solution.
